Responsibilities
- Manage the design of infrastructure and groundwork packages for residential developments.
- Arrange and manage service enquiries for new developments, ensuring timely payments for required utilities.
- Oversee designs produced by external consulting engineers, covering foundations, estate roads, sewers and Section 38, 104 and 278 works.
- Secure and manage adoption agreements (S38, S104, S278), ensuring bonds are set up, reduced and closed on time.
- Input into structural designs for superstructure elements.
- Review consultant designs to ensure value engineering, accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Work closely with the Technical Team and wider business to support the discharge of planning conditions and building regulations.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a similar role with a housing developer.
- Strong knowledge of estate road and sewer construction & inspection.
- Understanding of Highway and Water Industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Construction related qualifications (Degree / HND / HNC) desirable.
