Senior Estimator / Estimating & Infrastructure Manager
Location: Cornwall (Office-Based)

Are you an experienced Estimator looking to take the next step in your career? We\’re recruiting for a Senior Estimator / Estimating & Infrastructure Manager to join our team in Cornwall. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in pre-construction, commercial strategy, and infrastructure delivery.

In this role, you\\\’ll take the lead on cost planning, benchmarking, subcontractor procurement, and third-party coordination while driving value for money and ensuring projects hit their margin targets. You\\\’ll also act as a mentor, supporting and developing the next generation of commercial professionals.

What you\\\’ll be doing

  • Leading cost plans, estimates, benchmarking and cash flow forecasting.
  • Overseeing COINS pre-con development, BoQ preparation and measurement software.
  • Managing subcontract procurement for groundworks and infrastructure.
  • Coordinating with banks, housing associations, and joint venture partners.
  • Driving commercial insights, delivering margin, and supporting rental developments.
  • Working on special projects, including VFM, prelims and aftercare.
  • Acting as a mentor and training champion within the commercial team.

  • Proven experience as an Estimator within construction or civil engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure, groundworks, and cost management.
  • Proficiency in COINS and measurement software.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.
