Engineer (Construction)\\n\\nExeter – Hybrid working\\n\\nPermanent\\n\\n£55,000-£70,000\\n\\nSphere solutions are working with a national housebuilder to recruit a Construction Engineer who will manage the design of infrastructure and groundwork packages for residential developments. Your main responsibilities will include and not be limited to;\\n\\n * Arranging and managing service enquiries for new developments, ensuring timely payments for required utilities.\\n\\n * Oversee designs produced by external consulting engineers, covering foundations, estate roads, sewers and Section 38, 104 and 278 works.\\n\\n * Secure and manage adoption agreements (S38, S104, S278), ensuring bonds are set up, reduced and closed on time.\\n\\n * Input into structural designs for superstructure elements.\\n\\n * Review consultant designs to ensure value engineering, accuracy and compliance with regulations.\\n\\n * Work closely with the Technical Team and wider business to support the discharge of planning conditions and building regulations.\\n\\nWhat we’re looking for:\\n\\n * Experience in a similar role with a housing developer\\n\\n * Strong knowledge of estate road and sewer construction & inspection\\n\\n * Understanding of Highway and Water Industry standards\\n\\n * Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills\\n\\n * Construction related qualifications (Degree/HND/HNC) desirable\\n\\nBenefits\\n\\n * Competitive salary and bonus scheme\\n\\n * Private medical cover (single cover)\\n\\n * Company car or cash allowance\\n\\n * Annual medical health assessment\\n\\n * 26 days’ holiday (increasing with service to 29 days)\\n\\n * Flexible benefits options\\n\\nPlease follow the below instructions to apply or call Jo or Cat for an informal chat on (phone number removed).\\n\\nOur Commitment to Inclusion\\n\\nAs a recruitment agency, we are committed to promoting inclusive opportunities on behalf of our clients.
