Electrical Estimator

Job Description: Electrical Estimator Location: Bridgend, South Wales Salary: £55k – £65k + package Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent We’re working in partnership with a leading regional Mechanical & Electrical contractor with a strong track record of delivering high-quality M&E packages across the commercial, residential, healthcare, and education sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their commercial team. The successful candidate will play a key role in tendering for upcoming projects, supporting business development, and ensuring accurate cost proposals. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare detailed and competitive electrical estimates for new build and refurbishment projects * Interpret drawings and specifications to produce accurate take-offs and costings * Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations * Collaborate with internal teams including design, project managers, and senior management * Contribute to bid submissions and presentations * Attend pre- and post-tender meetings when required Requirements: * Proven experience in electrical estimating within the building services industry * Strong knowledge of electrical systems and relevant building regulations * Proficient in estimating software and Excel * Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills * Ability to work independently and to tight deadlines What’s on Offer: * Opportunity to join a respected, growing regional contractor * Supportive and collaborative team culture * Clear path for professional development and progression
