A broken boiler in a family home isn't a minor inconvenience; it's a cold house and a worried tenant. You'll be the Gas Engineer in Chesterfield who turns up, finds the fault and gets things running again safely.
We're recruiting on behalf of a local authority housing services team, looking for a Gas Engineer to join their property services team in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. You'll work across tenanted and void social housing properties on a temporary contract until April 2027, with the opportunity of a permanent role for the right person.
THE ROLE
- Working in tenanted and void social housing properties across the area
- Carrying out servicing, repairs and fault diagnosis on domestic gas appliances
- Completing safety checks and keeping accurate compliance records
- Logging jobs and paperwork on a handheld device
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Who We'd Love To Hear From
- Gas Safe registered
- Full domestic ACS
- A full UK driving licence
- Solid experience servicing and repairing domestic gas appliances
- Friendly and professional with tenants, including in challenging situations
