Build Manager – Somerset\\n\\n£75,000-£85,000 & Car package\\n\\nAbout the Role: This is a regional role, overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple housing developments, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards across Somerset & Devon.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Lead and support site teams to meet build programmes and health & safety standards\\n\\n * Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with company policies\\n\\n * Maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders\\n\\n * Attend and contribute to regular commercial and operational meetings\\n\\n * Drive SHE compliance across all developments\\n\\n * Oversee quality control and customer service readiness\\n\\n * Support with subcontractor selection, onboarding, and performance management\\n\\n * Monitor and report on progress across sites, implementing solutions where needed\\n\\n * Ensure all team members receive training, guidance and support for development\\n\\nSuitable candidates:\\n\\n * Previous experience as a Construction/Project Manager within the residential construction sector\\n\\n * Proven ability to manage multiple sites or large-volume developments\\n\\n * Up-to-date knowledge of building regulations and health & safety legislation\\n\\n * Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills\\n\\n * Able to balance commercial and customer service demands\\n\\n * A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to delivery\\n\\n * NVQ Level 4/5, ONC/HNC or degree in a construction-related subject\\n\\n * SMSTS\\n\\n * Evidence of long-term career progression within residential construction\\n\\nWhat’s in it for you?\\n\\n * Salary ranging from £75,000-£85,000 depending on experience\\n\\n * 20% company bonus scheme\\n\\n * Company car or car allowance (Salary sacrifice car scheme)\\n\\n * Up to 33 days holiday (increasing with service) + bank holidays\\n\\n * Private medical cover\\n\\n * Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption leave\\n\\n * Pension scheme via salary sacrifice\\n\\n * Life assurance – 4x salary\\n\\n * Genuine career progression opportunities\\n\\nInterested?\\n\\nFor more information or to apply, please contact Abbie Evans at Sphere Solutions for a confidential chat on (phone number removed) or submit your CV via the application link
