We are working with a leading UK construction contractor seeking an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer to join its Building Services team in Bristol. You'll support projects from pre-construction through delivery, coordinating design, procurement and installation while working alongside project, design and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support tender and pre-construction activities including design reviews, buildability assessments and value engineering.
  • Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to deliver fully integrated M&E solutions.
  • Manage technical queries, RFIs and design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead coordination of electrical services, ensuring compliance with specifications, programme and budget.
  • Review and approve technical submissions, installation drawings and commissioning information.
  • Monitor procurement, factory testing and delivery of plant and equipment.
  • Carry out site inspections and support construction teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure designs meet quality, safety, maintainability and commissioning requirements.

About You

  • Experience delivering electrical building services packages within construction.
  • Background with a main contractor or M&E contractor.
  • Engineering degree, HNC/HND or equivalent preferred.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong understanding of design coordination and project delivery.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
