I’m recruiting for a Geospatial Engineer to join a Tier 1 contractor delivering one of the UK’s most significant advanced‑manufacturing developments. This is a great opportunity to take on a key technical role within a fast‑paced, highly collaborative project team.
The Role
You’ll work closely with Project Engineers and Site Managers, providing accurate setting‑out, surveying and geospatial support across all construction elements. The position covers geospatial management, survey control, QA, As‑Built documentation and data management — ensuring the project is delivered with precision and compliance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing all geospatial activities across the project
- Providing precise setting‑out data and survey support to site teams
- Establishing and maintaining survey control networks
- Producing accurate QA records and As‑Built documentation
- Managing geospatial data and ensuring information is accessible to stakeholders
- Preparing clear, professional reports for internal and external teams
- Working collaboratively with project management on all geospatial matters
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Geospatial Engineer within the construction industry
- Relevant technical qualifications (HND, City & Guilds or similar)
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety and construction processes
- Proficiency with geospatial software — ideally Trimble Business Centre and AutoCAD
- Someone detail‑driven, proactive and confident working on a major live site
