We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Gateman/woman to oversee the entry and exit of vehicles and personnel on site. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment. This role is essential for ensuring that all visitors and staff adhere to security protocols while providing exceptional service.
Duties
- Monitor and control access to the premises by checking identification and issuing visitor passes.
- Maintain a log of all incoming and outgoing vehicles and personnel.
- Conduct regular patrols of the area to ensure safety and security compliance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any incidents or concerns.
- Assist with maintenance tasks as required, ensuring that the gate area is clean and well-organised.
- Provide directions and assistance to visitors, enhancing their experience at the facility.
- Operate company vehicles as needed for various tasks, including transporting materials or personnel within the site.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
- Basic maintenance skills to assist in keeping the gate area functional and presentable.
