The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading specialist construction contractor delivering large-scale façade remediation, external refurbishment and fire compliance projects across the South East.
The company has built an outstanding reputation for delivering complex refurbishment and regeneration schemes on occupied residential developments, working closely with housing providers, property managers and private clients.
Their expertise includes cladding remediation, external wall systems, rainscreen façades, render replacement, fire safety upgrades, balconies, decking, roofing, and wider building envelope refurbishment.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee a major residential remediation scheme in Camberley.
The Project
The development comprises four occupied apartment blocks with a combined project value of approximately £4.5 million.
The works include a comprehensive programme of external remediation and fire safety improvements, including:
- Replacement of external render systems.
- Installation of new rainscreen cladding systems.
- Removal and replacement of ACM cladding.
- Replacement of timber decking and soffits.
- Building envelope improvements.
- External refurbishment and associated façade works.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take ownership of the day‑to‑day management of site operations, coordinating subcontractors, labour, materials and programme delivery while maintaining excellent health and safety standards throughout the project.
As Site Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring works are completed on time, within budget and in accordance with all contractual, technical and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day‑to‑day running of external refurbishment and façade remediation works.
- Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, plant and material deliveries.
- Deliver projects safely, on programme and within budget.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and approved RAMS.
- Monitor programme progress and produce regular progress reports.
- Chair subcontractor coordination meetings and site progress meetings.
- Maintain excellent communication with residents, clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
- Oversee quality assurance, inspections and snagging processes.
- Ensure all health, safety and environmental procedures are fully implemented.
- Monitor labour productivity and resource allocation.
- Work closely with commercial, design and health & safety teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports and project documentation.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Site Manager delivering façade remediation, cladding, external refurbishment or building envelope projects.
Strong knowledge of occupied residential construction environments.
Experience managing subcontractors and multiple concurrent work packages.
Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage programmes, quality and health & safety effectively.
A proactive, hands‑on management style with excellent attention to detail.

- Asbestos Awareness
- Façade, EWI or external wall systems experience is essential.
Minimum of four years' Site Management experience.
Desirable
- HNC/ONC or equivalent construction qualification.
- PASMA.
- Scaffold Awareness.
- DBS Clearance (where project‑specific).
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
