Shopfitting Site Manager – Midlands

We are currently looking for an experienced Shopfitting Site Manager to oversee shopfitting and fit-out projects across the Midlands.

The successful candidate will have a strong joinery or carpentry background, with proven experience managing retail/shopfitting projects from start to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations and ensure projects are delivered safely and on programme.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site teams.
  • Oversee shopfitting, joinery, carpentry and general fit-out works.
  • Liaise with the Project Manager, client and subcontractors.
  • Manage site health & safety and ensure all RAMS and site procedures are followed.
  • Monitor quality, progress and workmanship.
  • Coordinate deliveries, materials and labour requirements.
  • Attend site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
  • Ensure the project is completed to the required standard and programme.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within shopfitting or retail fit-out.
  • Joinery or carpentry background is essential.
  • Previous experience managing shopfit/retail projects.
  • SMSTS is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety and site management procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Available to work across the Midlands
