About the Role: We are currently looking for an experienced Re-Roofing Supervisor to oversee roofing projects across Basingstoke and the surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong roofing knowledge and supervisory experience, responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day activities on re-roofing projects (pitched and flat roofs)
- Lead and coordinate roofing teams and subcontractors on site
- Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations
- Monitor quality of work and ensure compliance with specifications
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Conduct site inspections and toolbox talks
- Report progress, issues, and updates to the Site Manager or Project Manager
- Ensure materials and equipment are used efficiently and safely
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation
Requirements:
- Proven experience in roofing, with a strong background in re-roofing projects
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience
- Good understanding of roofing systems, materials, and techniques
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification
- Valid CSCS card
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
