Contract Length: 13–15 Weeks
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee roofing remediation works across two live school sites located within a 10‑minute commute of each other.
Working for a reputable main contractor, you will be responsible for managing the safe delivery of roofing and associated remedial works while ensuring minimal disruption to the day‑to‑day operation of both schools.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised Site Manager with experience working in occupied educational environments and managing multiple sites simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day management of roofing remediation works across both school sites.
- Ensuring all works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
- Managing subcontractors, labour and site logistics.
- Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Monitoring progress and reporting to the Contracts Manager.
- Managing health & safety documentation and site records.
- Ensuring safeguarding procedures are adhered to at all times within the live school environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager delivering roofing, refurbishment or remediation projects (preferable).
- Experience working within occupied schools, healthcare facilities or other live environments (preferable).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- SMSTS.
- CSCS Card.
- First Aid at Work.
- Disclosure Scotland Basic Check (essential).
- Ability to manage multiple work fronts and coordinate activities across two nearby sites.
