Site Manager – Roofing Remediation Works (Live School Environment)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee roofing remediation works across two live school sites located within a 10-minute commute of each other.

Working for a reputable main contractor, you will be responsible for managing the safe delivery of roofing and associated remedial works while ensuring minimal disruption to the day-to-day operation of both schools.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised Site Manager with experience working in occupied educational environments and managing multiple sites simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of roofing remediation works across both school sites.
  • Ensuring all works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
  • Managing subcontractors, labour and site logistics.
  • Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
  • Monitoring progress and reporting to the Contracts Manager.
  • Managing health & safety documentation and site records.
  • Ensuring safeguarding procedures are adhered to at all times within the live school environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager delivering roofing, refurbishment or remediation projects. (Preferable)
  • Experience working within occupied schools, healthcare facilities or other live environments. (Preferable)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • SMSTS.
  • CSCS Card.
  • First Aid at Work.
  • Disclosure Scotland Basic Check (essential).
  • Ability to manage multiple work fronts and coordinate activities across two nearby sites.
