I'm working with a regionally established and well-respected civil engineering contractor based in Bristol, who are currently looking to recruit a Plant Controller to support their growing operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in plant hire or machinery management, but they are also open to trainee-level candidates who are keen to learn and grow within the industry.
The Role: As Plant Controller, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the hire and management of plant machinery across various projects, ensuring smooth communication with customers and maintaining up-to-date servicing and compliance records.
Key Duties Include:
- Handling customer enquiries for plant and machinery hire (internal and external)
- Scheduling delivery, collection, and maintenance of plant equipment
- Managing service data, maintenance schedules, and breakdowns
- Ensuring all statutory checks and safety inspections are carried out on time
