An established international main contractor with a strong track record delivering complex large-scale schemes across the UK and Europe is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join a landmark mission critical development in North London.

This is a rare opportunity to play a key role on a flagship project with a construction value in excess of £300m.

The scheme comprises a large-scale data centre campus incorporating highly serviced technical spaces, substantial civil engineering elements, complex MEP installations and demanding programme requirements.

Working as part of a high-performing site leadership team, you will take responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of designated works packages from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day site operations across multiple work fronts.
  • Coordinating subcontractors and direct labour to ensure programme milestones are achieved.
  • Driving health, safety and environmental standards across all site activities.
  • Working closely with project, commercial and design teams to resolve construction issues.
  • Monitoring progress against programme and implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Ensuring quality standards are maintained and works are delivered in accordance with specifications.
  • Managing logistics, sequencing and interface coordination on a complex live construction environment.
  • Supporting client reporting and stakeholder engagement requirements.
  • Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager, Senior Site Manager or Project Manager within a leading main contractor environment.
  • Strong background delivering major data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, advanced manufacturing, commercial or mission critical projects.
  • Experience managing large subcontractor packages and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, health and safety legislation and quality management processes.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to drive performance across site teams.
  • Relevant construction qualifications and SMSTS certification.
