Digital Construction Manager – Plymouth or Exeter
Sphere Solutions are working on a unique opportunity to join a Tier 1 contractor as a Digital Construction Manager. Ultimately, you will enable the use of appropriate tools and technologies to support effectively project delivery.
Duties will include:
- Monitor the completion of the IM Gateway forms across all tenders to fulfil assurance procedures relating to early assessment of design team capability and internal resource considerations.
- Responsible for ensuring Exchange Information Requirements and Asset Information requirements are responded to and delivered across relevant projects.
- Responsible for ensuring the use of the common data environment to manage, share and exchange information, adhering to ISO 19650 across relevant projects.
- Support and audit the project team to ensure standards, methods and procedures using specified software / workflows are in use,
- Share best practice with Head of Digital Construction and work on continued improvement of PLM resources.
- Responsible for promoting digital strategies that are implemented across the business and projects and provide feedback to Senior Digital Construction Manager to ensure progress is being made and commitment to documentation is being observed.
Suitable candidates:
- Good understanding of the ISO 19650 series of documents
- Can discuss in detail open BIM standards such as IFC and COBie to support information interoperability.
- Enthusiastic and keen to use new technologies to improve traditional ways of working.
- Innovative by sharing ideas and challenging standard practices.
- Understanding and has experience of appropriate software tools to view and interrogate models.
This role can be based in one of two regional offices – Plymouth or Exeter.
On offer is a salary of between £40,000-£60,000 depending on experience and qualifications. As well as an impressive benefits package.
