Quantity Surveyor in Bath

Salary: Up to £65,000 + car allowance + bonus + full benefits package

A well‑established regional main contractor is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their Bristol team. The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of projects typically ranging from £2m–£15m across the Bristol, Bath and wider South West region. Responsibilities include:

• Managing project costs from pre‑construction through to final account
• Procurement of subcontractors and materials
• Preparing valuations, variations and cost reports
• Budget management and forecasting
• Supporting value engineering and cost‑effective design solutions
• Ensuring compliance with contractual and commercial requirements

About You

We’re looking for someone with:

• Experience as a QS with a main contractor
• Strong commercial and contractual understanding (JCT preferred)
• Ability to manage multiple work packages and deadlines
• Confident communication and negotiation skills
• A collaborative approach and commitment to quality delivery
