Field-Based Engineer IT/Telecoms/Communications

You will need to be in the South London (Southampton, Welling, Croydon etc) area as you will be on various client sites.

Role: The primary duties encompass visiting client locations to set up and evaluate products, offering guidance on how to use these products, diagnosing and repairing systems through remote access, and performing regular upkeep. As a Field Based Engineer, the individual will also play a role in developing new systems, carrying out surveys, and delivering support before and after-sales. Moreover, the role demands providing on-call assistance, both virtually and in person, according to a rotating schedule.

Requirements:

  • HNC or higher in Telecoms or IT, with specific courses in VOIP, networking, or other telecoms being advantageous.
  • Experience in field-based communications/IT installations is preferable but not essential.
