Our client is growing their Belfast-based Finance team and is looking for a talented and ambitious solicitor to join their thriving function. With close collaboration alongside national and international teams across the firm's network, this is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of modern finance law.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting on a broad mix of exciting finance matters including real estate finance, securitisation, energy finance, and leveraged finance.
- Drafting and reviewing finance and security documents, corporate authorisations, and ancillary materials.
- Managing conditions precedent and document execution at closing.
- Advising on outsourced negotiations including banking documents, trade finance agreements, and NDAs.
- Collaborating with external lawyers on cross-border matters.
- Mentoring legal support staff and contributing to training and knowledge sharing.
- Staying up to date with developments in finance law and maintaining excellent client relationships throughout.
This is a client-facing, hands-on role, instrumental in delivering a premium service to global, household-name clients.
What we’re looking for:
- A qualified solicitor in England & Wales or Northern Ireland (ROI or other common law jurisdictions considered).
- 1-3 years' post-qualification experience, with at least 6 months in banking and finance law.
- Solid drafting skills, attention to detail, and a team-focused mindset.
- An interest in working on complex cross-border transactions in a fast-paced, innovative legal environment.
