Our client is a UK based SaaS business with ambitious growth plans to exceed £10m turnover in the near future. Reporting to the CEO, this role will sit at the centre of commercial decision-making, partnering closely with the executive team to support growth, improve visibility and strengthen financial discipline as the business continues to scale. You will have full responsibility for finance, IT, systems, and operational processes leading a small but highly motivated team.
The role will involve:
- Delivering accurate, timely and insightful reporting to the Board and investors.
- Providing insightful commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making, pricing, product profitability, and growth initiatives.
- Leading and managing all financial activities including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Overseeing cash flow management, working capital, and funding requirements to support scale-up ambitions.
- Providing leadership oversight of IT and business systems, including finance systems, ERP, CRM, and internal tools.
- Being a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to overall business strategy whilst leading and developing a team of c. 8 people.
We are looking for:
- A qualified accountant with proven experience in a senior finance role within a SaaS, software, or technology-led subscription business.
- A commercially minded qualified accountant able to influence at a senior level.
- Track record of supporting business growth in a multi-entity and/or international environment.
- Hands-on leadership style, comfortable operating both strategically and operationally.
- The ability to start at short notice would be particularly beneficial, given current business priorities.
