A complex and internationally operating B2B group is seeking to appoint a Risk & Controls Systems Manager to take ownership of its enterprise-wide risk and controls platform. This role sits at the centre of the organisation’s governance and assurance framework, partnering closely with senior Finance, Risk and Assurance leadership. With continued investment in systems, controls and governance infrastructure, this is a high-impact position focused on strengthening the digital controls environment, enhancing reporting quality and enabling effective oversight across a multi-entity, international business. Key Responsibilities
- System Ownership & Governance – Lead administration, configuration and optimisation of the Group’s risk and controls platform, ensuring it remains robust, scalable and aligned to business requirements.
- Risk & Controls Enablement – Ensure the system effectively supports enterprise risk management, internal controls and assurance frameworks across the Group.
- Stakeholder Partnering – Act as the key interface between Group Finance, Risk and Assurance, delivering accurate, timely and insightful reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Data Integrity & Reporting – Maintain high-quality system data to support effective oversight, decision-making and Board-level reporting.
- User Governance & Adoption – Manage user access, governance protocols and drive consistent, best-practice usage across the organisation.
- Continuous Improvement – Lead system enhancements, upgrades and change initiatives to improve efficiency, usability and reporting capability.
- Vendor Management – Liaise with external providers to ensure optimal system performance and ongoing development.
- Controls Environment Enhancement – Support the evolution of the Group’s digital controls landscape, ensuring alignment with governance and assurance objectives.
Candidate Profile
Professionally qualified you will bring a strong blend of audit, risk and internal controls expertise, combined with a genuine interest in systems and digital enablement. Exposure to enterprise risk or audit platforms (e.g. AuditBoard/Optro or similar) would be advantageous, alongside a solid understanding of governance and assurance frameworks. You will be a credible and commercially aware business partner, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and translating technical system capability into practical, value-adding outcomes. This role is ideally suited to a high-performing auditor or internal auditor from either practice or industry seeking a progressive move into a broader, Group-level remit. Clear progression opportunities are available, offering advancement within a 12–24 month timeframe.
