JasperRose are partnering exclusively with an industry leading global Fintech startup who have recently finished a successful round of Series A funding. This is a newly created role initially focusing on improving and owning core financial operations before then evolving into a more commercial and strategic role. This opportunity will give you broad exposure of working in an up-and-coming global fintech company. This role is remote with the need to come into London once a month, access to co-working spaces will be provided.
Your role:
- Reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be operating as the number 2 in finance.
- You will be working alongside the Head of Finance to bring the accounts inhouse and will be given the opportunity to shape processes and drive efficiencies to help reduce month-end timelines and utilise as much automation as possible.
- As the role progresses you will get involved in commercially focused duties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own and streamline core financial processes (month-end, AP/AR, reconciliations, controls)
- Operate as the business partner to the Marketing and Sales teams analyse spend, drive revenue and challenge costs
- Manage outsourced bookkeeping relationships and work alongside the Head of Finance to bring the accounts inhouse
- Support in forecasting, pipeline analysis and budgeting
- Support the accounting for international entities across the UK, UAE, and India
- Drive cost control initiatives and advise leadership on cash management
- Use and improve financial systems (Xero, Zoho, Payhawk)

- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in or exposure to startups (either in industry or from practice) is beneficial
- A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, scaling environments
- Someone confident getting hands-on but also ready to think strategically
- Strong experience in Financial Operations including experience managing month-end and management accounts
- Growth mindset with a desire to grow in line with a forward thinking and ambitious business
