We're working with an exciting, fast-growing business looking for a Social Media Executive to join its creative and marketing team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone early in their social media career who is culturally tapped-in, understands what works on social and genuinely enjoys creating content.

Working closely with the Social Media Lead, you'll support the day-to-day running of several social channels, helping with everything from content and copy to trends, creators, research and reporting. It's a hands-on role where you'll have plenty of opportunity to bring your own ideas and develop your experience across social and content.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Write engaging, platform-specific copy across Instagram, TikTok, X, Pinterest and YouTube.
  • Support day-to-day content planning, scheduling and publishing.
  • Adapt copy and content for different audiences and tones of voice.
  • Keep on top of emerging social trends, formats, sounds and cultural moments.
  • Produce regular trend and competitor research.
  • Suggest creative ways to turn trends and audience insights into content ideas.
  • Help source relevant UGC and identify creators for campaigns.
  • Support creator and ambassador outreach where needed.
  • Monitor audience behaviour and social conversations to identify opportunities.
  • Help organise content and maintain asset libraries.
  • Support the creation of presentations, reports and campaign decks.
  • Assist with content creation, including capturing and editing social-first content.
  • Support the wider team on shoots and other projects when required.
  • Proactively bring new ideas and identify ways to improve social content and processes.

Who We're Looking For

  • Around 1-2 years' experience within social media, content or digital marketing.
  • A genuine interest in social media, internet culture and emerging trends.
  • Strong knowledge of TikTok and Instagram and an understanding of what performs across different platforms.
  • Strong copywriting skills with a good understanding of tone, humour and audience.
  • Comfortable creating and posting content.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Creative, proactive and full of ideas.
  • Able to work across multiple projects and switch between different tones of voice.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Someone who is naturally curious about what people are watching, sharing and talking about online.

Bonus Skills

  • CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar editing tools.
  • Canva or basic design experience.
  • Experience creating short-form video content.
  • Creator or influencer marketing experience.
  • Experience managing brand social accounts.
