We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a major refurbishment and construction project in Yeovil. The project involves the full refurbishment and redevelopment of an existing building, including a new steel frame, extensive internal fit-out, roofing, foundations and groundworks, M&E installations and window replacement. Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the project.
- Lead site teams and coordinate subcontractors across multiple work packages.
- Drive the programme and ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.
- Maintain excellent health & safety standards across the site.
- Oversee temporary works and ensure appropriate procedures are followed.
- Coordinate M&E, structural, groundworks, roofing and internal fit-out activities.
- Manage quality, inspections and site documentation.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, subcontractors and wider project team.
- Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager / Senior Site Manager.
- Strong refurbishment and construction experience.
- Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractor packages.
- Excellent health & safety awareness and leadership skills.
