My client is seeking an experienced and driven Site Manager to join a flagship 2000-unit residential development in Suffolk. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role on one of the region's largest and most high-profile housing projects, delivering a high-quality, sustainable community at scale. You will take ownership of a defined phase or multiple workstreams, ensuring delivery is on programme, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations across a large residential scheme
  • Lead, coordinate, and supervise subcontractors and site teams
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations (CDM) and company procedures
  • Drive programme delivery, identifying and mitigating risks to progress
  • Maintain strict quality control and oversee snagging and handover processes
  • Work closely with the Project Manager, Commercial team, and Technical teams
  • Monitor site logistics, materials, and resource planning
  • Ensure excellent standards of site presentation and organisation
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, local authorities, and residents

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale residential developments
  • Experience working on multi-phase, high-volume housing schemes (500+ units desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation and site management practices
