About the Role: I'm working with a leading national office fit-out contractor who are looking to appoint an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, based out of their Bristol office. The company delivers high-quality CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects across the UK for blue-chip clients, and due to continued growth, they’re looking to strengthen their QS team in the South West.
Role Overview: This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with experience in interior fit-outs or general commercial build to step into a role with strong autonomy and progression prospects. You'll work on a mix of pre- and post-contract responsibilities, managing costs and subcontractors across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation
- Managing subcontractor procurement and accounts
- Preparing valuations and processing applications for payment
- Monitoring project costs and reporting on financial performance
- Managing variations, change control, and final accounts
- Working closely with project managers, designers, and site teams
Requirements:
- 3–5 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally with a fit-out or interiors contractor
- HNC/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
