Overview

Creative Strategist (Paid Social) – Manchester Based. Must have RTW in the UK to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Own and develop the creative strategy for all paid social campaigns across client accounts, from initial concept through to performance-informed iteration.
  • Lead the development of ad frameworks, hook structures, messaging hierarchies, and visual storytelling formats tailored to each platform.
  • Interpret brand strategy, audience insights, product USPs and performance data into highly actionable creative briefs.
  • Define and communicate hypotheses for creative tests (e.g. hook variations, CTA formats, testimonial types) to inform a robust test-and-learn roadmap.
  • Maintain fluency in platform trends, algorithm changes, ad formats and visual behaviours across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn and others.
  • Benchmark against category competitors, identifying creative white space and strategic differentiation opportunities.

You

  • Minimum 3-5 years in a creative strategy, paid social, or performance creative role, ideally within a digital agency or in-house performance team.
  • Demonstrable experience building successful creative strategies across Meta and TikTok Ads; knowledge of other platforms (e.g. Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, YouTube) is a bonus.
  • Deep understanding of platform behaviours, creative best practices and media metrics across paid social environments.
  • Strong copywriting instincts, particularly in hook development and CTA testing.
  • Ability to think both conceptually and analytically - comfortable shifting between creative ideation and interpreting performance data.
  • Highly collaborative with experience working cross-functionally across creative, strategy, performance and production.
