I'm partnering with one of the world's leading global media networks to recruit an experienced

MAI Search Director to lead mobile app acquisition strategy for a globally recognised consumer technology and entertainment brand.

This is a high-impact opportunity to take ownership of app growth across multiple international markets, leading the strategy, execution and optimisation of Mobile App Install (MAI) campaigns across Search, Social and Display.

You'll work at the intersection of media, data and technology, partnering with senior client stakeholders and global teams to deliver innovative performance campaigns that drive measurable growth for one of the world's most exciting digital brands.

The Role

  • Lead the strategy, delivery and optimisation of Mobile App Install (MAI) campaigns across multiple international markets.
  • Own app acquisition activity across key platforms including Google App Campaigns, Apple Search Ads, Meta and wider performance channels.
  • Manage mobile tracking and attribution strategy, working closely with leading Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs).
  • Act as a senior strategic partner to the client, providing insight and recommendations to improve performance and drive growth.
  • Lead and support a high-performing team across UK and global markets, ensuring best-in-class campaign delivery.
  • Collaborate with Search, Social, Display, Data, Technology and Analytics teams to create integrated performance solutions.
  • Identify opportunities across automation, innovation and emerging platforms to enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Champion best practice across measurement, reporting, optimisation and operational excellence.

About You

  • Strong experience in performance marketing with expertise across Mobile App Install (MAI) campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of app acquisition strategy, particularly across Search channels such as Google App Campaigns and Apple Search Ads.
  • Experience with mobile attribution platforms such as Kochava, Apps Flyer, Adjust or similar MMP technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Search, Paid Social and Display activation within a performance marketing environment.
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Confident working with senior clients and translating data into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Passionate about digital innovation, emerging technology and using media to drive measurable business growth.
