A large FMCG is looking to hire a Management Accountant to join their team on a 1 year FTC. This is a team going through a lot of change and they are needing an Accountant to work on business as usual tasks and projects. This is a hybrid role requiring two days a week in the office.
Key responsibilities:
- Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, you will be playing a key role within their Central Finance Team.
- Taking ownership of month end processes for the overhead cost centres including accruals, prepayments and posting of journals.
- Ownership and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations ensuring strong control and compliance.
- Business partnering with budget holders and senior stakeholders.
- Led the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting for the overheads.
- Working closely with Senior Finance members to improve processes, procedures, automation and control functions.
- Adhoc project work focusing on inventory and GNRI reconciliations.
You will be:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified or Qualified by experience.
- Experience working in both a technical and commercial finance role.
- Experience of business partnering.
- Hands on and proactive nature.
