Our technology teams support large-scale content creation, digital product development, data platforms, and enterprise systems used across a global network of brands and teams.
We are seeking a Technology Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives, optimise vendor relationships, and ensure technology procurement supports digital innovation and operational efficiency across the organisation.
OverviewThe Technology Procurement Manager will oversee the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for technology products and services, including software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, and IT services. Working closely with Technology, Legal, Finance, and cross-functional business teams, the role will focus on negotiating contracts, optimising vendor performance, managing commercial risk, and supporting the organisation's broader technology strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end procurement across key technology categories including SaaS, cloud services, enterprise software, digital tools, hardware, and professional services.
- Develop sourcing strategies that reduce costs, mitigate risk, and support the organisation's long-term technology roadmap.
- Manage RFx processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ), vendor evaluations, and commercial assessments. Vendor & Contract Management
- Negotiate commercial agreements including pricing structures, SLAs, contract terms, and renewal conditions.
- Manage vendor relationships and performance reviews to ensure service delivery, value realisation, and contract compliance.
- Maintain a structured and scalable vendor portfolio aligned with global procurement standards. Financial & Commercial Governance
- Partner with Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and total cost of ownership analysis.
- Track savings, cost avoidance, and procurement KPIs aligned with organisational metrics.
- Ensure procurement activities align with internal policies and approval frameworks. Risk, Compliance & Security
- Identify and manage risks within the technology supply chain.
- Ensure procurement activities follow global compliance and ethical sourcing standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Digital, Data, and Corporate IT teams to understand requirements and deliver procurement solutions.
- Provide guidance on pricing models, vendor landscape insights, and technology market trends.
- Support internal stakeholders with vendor onboarding, contract renewals, and procurement processes.
- 5+ years' experience in technology procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management.
- Strong commercial negotiation and contract management experience, particularly with SaaS and cloud services.
- Experience with procurement processes, vendor governance frameworks, and commercial analysis.
- Understanding of information security and data privacy considerations within technology contracts.
- Experience within media, digital, technology, or creative industries.
- Familiarity with procurement platforms such as Coupa, SAP Ariba, or similar systems.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented.
