Introduction: I'm working with a leading global agency that is looking to hire an Ecommerce Account Director on a 3 month contract. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 to 3 days per week in the office, and would suit an experienced ecommerce and retail media specialist who can step in quickly, lead client accounts and deliver high quality campaign work from day one.
The Role: As Ecommerce Account Director, you will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of ecommerce and retail media activity across client accounts, operating as the main campaign activation point of contact for clients. You will use your platform expertise and account management experience to ensure projects are delivered to brief, schedule and budget. You will oversee campaign set up, management, optimisation, QA and reporting across key platforms, including Criteo and Citrus, while working closely with internal teams and clients to deliver industry leading ecommerce campaigns.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing ecommerce and retail media campaigns across Criteo and Citrus.
- Acting as the main campaign activation point of contact for clients.
- Overseeing campaign set up, trafficking, optimisation, reporting and day to day delivery.
- Ensuring projects are delivered to brief, schedule and budget.
- Providing strategic and tactical input to improve campaign performance and effectiveness.
- Working closely with internal teams and clients to deliver best in class ecommerce advertising solutions.
- Supporting and overseeing junior team members where required, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard.
- Maintaining strong QA processes and excellent attention to detail across all campaign activity.
You, Skills & Experience:
- Established senior experience within an ecommerce, retail media or commerce media environment.
- Proven hands on experience with Criteo, which is essential, and Citrus.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce campaign set up, management, optimisation and reporting across media owner and technology vendor platforms.
- Excellent understanding of the strategic and tactical application of ecommerce and digital marketing.
- Agency background, with experience managing multiple clients and fast paced campaign delivery.
- Confident client facing experience, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Proactive, inquisitive and comfortable challenging existing ways of working with ideas for improvement.
- Understanding of key UK retailers and quick commerce partners, including Sainsbury's, Tesco, ASDA, Morrisons, Ocado, Deliveroo and Uber Eats.
- Able to start immediately or within 3 weeks.
- Experience with Amazon, Skai, Pacvue or Amazon Marketing Cloud would be a bonus.
- Experience across food delivery or ecommerce verticals would also be beneficial.
