Freelance Community Manager
We're looking for an experienced Community Manager to join a leading consumer brand on a freelance basis, taking ownership of day-to-day community engagement and helping build an active, engaged audience across social channels.

- £250/day - outside IR35
- Month-by-month rolling contract
- Full-time
- Hybrid - 3 days per week in the London office
- Start ASAP
The role
You'll be responsible for managing and growing the brand's social communities, ensuring conversations feel engaging, culturally relevant and consistent with the brand's tone of voice.
The role will involve proactive and reactive community management, monitoring conversations and cultural moments, identifying opportunities for the brand to engage, responding to comments and messages, and working closely with the wider social and content teams.
What we're looking for
- Strong experience in social media and community management, ideally within an agency or consumer brand environment.
- Confident managing communities across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other key social channels.
- Strong understanding of internet culture, social trends and reactive opportunities.
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to adapt and maintain a distinctive brand tone of voice.
- Experience with social listening, sentiment monitoring and community insights.
- Comfortable working at pace and managing real-time engagement across busy social channels.
- Proactive, culturally curious and confident bringing forward ideas and opportunities for the brand to join relevant conversations.
