Social Account Director (German-speaking)

We're hiring on behalf of a globally recognised creative and social agency to find an experienced Social Account Director to lead one of the biggest entertainment brands in Germany.

This is an exciting freelance opportunity to shape the social output of a high-profile client, working with a talented cross-functional team of strategists, creatives, producers, and content specialists.

Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 3 months (with strong potential to extend)
Rate: £400/day (Outside IR35)
Location: Hybrid - 1-2 days/week in London office
Working Schedule: Full-time
Language Requirement: Fluent in German and English

The Role

• Lead the day-to-day running of a flagship social account for a major entertainment brand
• Be the key point of contact for the client, managing relationships with clarity, confidence and strategy
• Oversee the delivery of social-first campaigns across paid, organic and influencer channels
• Collaborate with creative, production, and content teams to ensure excellence in execution
• Drive strategic conversations, ensure alignment with business goals, and seek out opportunities for innovation and growth
• Guide and mentor junior team members to build a strong, motivated unit

You

• 6+ years of experience in creative or social-first agencies
• Proven track record delivering impactful social media campaigns across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Meta, Twitch, etc.)
• Experience leading fast-paced entertainment or consumer brand accounts
• Deep knowledge of social media best practices and emerging trends
• A confident communicator and strong collaborator, both internally and with clients
• Someone who thrives in a high-energy, culturally plugged-in environment
• Bilingual fluency in German and English is essential
