The Company

My client is a fast-growing, privately owned technology business operating within one of the fastest-growing areas of digital advertising.

Having already achieved significant global success, the business is now investing heavily into the next phase of its UK and European growth, launching an innovative performance marketing solution designed to help brands and agencies unlock new opportunities beyond traditional search.

With a highly entrepreneurial culture, no investor pressure and ambitious growth plans, this is a rare opportunity to join a hugely profitable, privately owned, early stage tech business with a proven product (all whilst benefiting from the stability and backing of an already successful and highly profitable international business).

They have recently made some statement senior appointments and as part of this investment, they are looking to appoint their first senior agency sales hire to establish and grow their agency partnerships across the UK, under the guidance of an exceptional leader.

  • The Job
  • Join as Head of Agency Sales, taking ownership of building agency partnerships across the UK.
  • Drive new business across Hold Cos and independent agencies, securing new commercial partnerships and growing revenue.
  • Own the full commercial sales cycle, from opening strategic relationships through to commercial negotiation and long‑term partnership development.
  • Help shape the company's UK go‑to‑market strategy for an exciting new performance marketing proposition.
  • Work closely with agency Search, Performance and Commerce teams to secure initial testing budgets and drive long‑term adoption.
  • Report directly into an experienced industry leader with an outstanding track record of scaling high‑performing commercial teams.
  • Initially operate as an individual contributor with a clear opportunity to build and lead a wider agency sales team as the business grows.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Operations and Leadership teams to influence future product development and commercial strategy.
  • Hybrid working with a London office.
  • Required experience to be successful
  • MUST HAVE
  • experience selling digital advertising, ad tech, commerce media or performance marketing solutions into media agencies.
  • MUST HAVE
  • strong understanding of Search, PPC or Performance advertising - ideally coming from an ad tech selling these solutions to agencies, or from the search teams within a large media agency.
  • Knowledge and experience in Retail Media and/or Commerce Media would be a bonus.
  • Existing relationships across major UK agency groups and independent agencies, ideally within search or performance arms.
  • Proven ability to win new business and build strategic agency partnerships.
  • Comfortable selling innovative products that require education, testing and long‑term commercial development.
  • Commercially driven, entrepreneurial and motivated by building something rather than inheriting an established business.
  • Confident influencing stakeholders from Search Managers and Performance Directors through to senior commercial leadership.

Why Join?

  • Be the first senior commercial hire for a major new growth initiative with exceptional progression routes.
  • Join a hugely profitable, proven and privately owned international technology business with ambitious expansion plans.
  • Genuine opportunity to build and lead your own agency sales function.
  • Work directly with one of the industry's most respected commercial leaders, with an exceptional track record of building successful businesses and high‑performing teams.
  • Operate within one of the fastest‑growing areas of digital advertising and commerce media.
