JasperRose are working with a medium sized international retailer who is looking to hire a Finance Manager to join their team. This role focuses on the Online business and Supply Chain divisions and managing a team of 3. You'll be working in a large finance team of over 30 people and have the opportunity to assist the business during a time of growth and investment in developing technology across the finance team.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and provide hands on support for month end ensuring accurate recording of costs relating to Online and Supply Chain
- Drive and support the agenda to reduce the month end close timeline down to 3 days
- Work closely with other divisions to fully understand the general ledger and month end position for the Online and Supply Chain division
- Support the team working closely with AP to ensure high accuracy for the ledger
- Manage risks and opportunity through preparation of robust balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with year end process, preparations and audit
- Management of a team of 3 Accountants
- Support the team of system and technology improvements
- Adhoc duties
Key requirements:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified
- Prior leadership experience
