An opportunity has arisen for an EMEA Payroll Clerk to join a global retailer. This company places emphasis on people, collaboration, and development. This is a hybrid role with the expectations of 4 days a week in office.

Details of the role:

  • Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be an integral part of the payroll team, supporting with a wide variety of payroll duties.
  • The business is looking for someone who is proactive and, alongside their business-as-usual tasks, will help drive efficiencies in the payroll department.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with the payroll data across the group for 10 European regions, in particular Italy and Benelux.
  • Ensuring payroll checks are implemented.
  • Ensure checks are carried out for new starters.
  • Overseeing statutory payments and deductions.
  • Managing payroll inbox and addressing queries.
  • Continuously looking at ways to improve the payroll process.

Skills required:

  • 1-3 years' EMEA payroll experience.
  • Experience with time and attendance systems, ideally from a retail setting.
  • Experience of Workday.
  • Softer skills required would include excellent communication skills and the ability to be proactive.
