Senior Financial Accountant – Global Technology – Egham, Surrey – Hybrid working (2 days in office) - £70,000

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you’ll join the EMEA accounting team and report into the Accounting Manager. This is a hands-on role with real ownership across month-end, reconciliations and core accounting, alongside the opportunity to improve processes within a growing international organisation.
The Role
- Own key areas of month-end, including journals, reconciliations, cash and intercompany accounting.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Support the Accounting Manager with month-end close and wider accounting activities.
- Support statutory accounting, audits and financial reporting across EMEA.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Qualified, finalist or actively studying towards an accounting qualification.
- 2–3+ years’ experience in a hands-on financial accounting role, with ownership of month-end.
- Strong accounting fundamentals and experience with statutory accounting.
- US GAAP and/or IFRS knowledge preferred
- D365 experience preferred.
- Naturally investigative, accurate and confident getting to the bottom of discrepancies.
- A hands-on, commercially minded accountant who enjoys improving processes and taking ownership.
