Working Pattern
- Full-time, hybrid - 3 days a week in the London office
- We're looking for an experienced
Social Strategist to join a fast-paced team on an initial 2-month contract.
This role requires someone with a strong understanding of social platforms, audiences and culture, who can turn insights into compelling social-first strategies and creative opportunities.
Crucially, you'll have previous experience working within a publisher or media owner environment , with a strong understanding of how brands can effectively engage audiences through publisher platforms and social channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop social-first strategies and campaign approaches based on audience, platform and cultural insights.
- Turn client briefs and business challenges into clear, compelling strategic recommendations.
- Identify relevant social trends, behaviours and cultural moments that brands can authentically tap into.
- Work closely with creative, content, commercial and account teams to shape campaign ideas and executions.
- Develop strategic narratives and presentations for client pitches, proposals and campaign responses.
- Use social and audience insights to inform content recommendations across key platforms.
- Present strategic thinking clearly and confidently to internal teams and senior client stakeholders.
About You
- Strong experience working as a
Social Strategist or in a similar social/content strategy position.
Previous experience within a publisher or media owner is essential.
- Strong understanding of social platforms, audiences, trends and internet culture.
- Comfortable developing strategies that connect brand objectives with publisher audiences and environments.
- Experience creating compelling strategic presentations, pitch decks and client-facing recommendations.
- Confident working collaboratively with creative, content, commercial and client services teams.
- Able to work at pace and manage multiple briefs simultaneously.
- Available to start ASAP and work
3 days per week from the London office .
