We’re looking for an experienced Video Editor to join a creative team on a 6-month fixed-term contract starting in January. You’ll work across a range of government-related projects, crafting impactful and culturally aware video content for social and digital channels. This is a fast-moving environment where sensitivity, accuracy, and professional judgement are essential. You’ll play a key role in shaping polished video output from concept to final delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Edit and produce high-quality short-form and long-form video content
  • Create platform-specific edits for TikTok, Reels, YouTube, and other social channels
  • Develop creative solutions to enhance narrative and visual storytelling
  • Localise and adapt content into Russian, ensuring linguistic and cultural accuracy
  • Add graphics, titles, supers, subtitles, and sound design where needed
  • Collaborate with designers, creatives, and project managers to deliver work on brief and to deadline
  • Maintain high production standards and consistency across all outputs
  • Contribute ideas to elevate content and streamline workflows

About You

  • Fluent in Russian (essential)
  • Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong digital/social portfolio
  • Skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro (essential) and After Effects (preferred)
  • Confident in editing for social platforms and aware of evolving trends
  • Experience working on sensitive or government-related communications is advantageous
  • Strong eye for pacing, narrative flow, and visual detail
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Comfortable working hybrid in London
  • Must hold security clearance, and be able to show proof

  • 6-month FTC, starting January
  • Hybrid working, London-based
  • Salary: £45,000–£50,000 depending on experience
