An independent, fast-growing performance-led media agency is looking for a senior Planning Director to build and lead an integrated media planning function. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for shaping full-funnel media strategies across brand and performance, spanning digital and offline channels. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into clear, audience-first media plans, while balancing commercial impact and long-term growth.
What you’ll do:
- Lead integrated media planning across digital and traditional channels (e.g. paid social, search, programmatic, video, CTV, OOH, audio)
- Act as a senior strategic partner to clients, guiding planning decisions and media direction
- Own media strategy for new business pitches and complex briefs
- Partner with data and activation teams to embed measurement, effectiveness and test-and-learn approaches
- Identify commercial growth opportunities and support revenue expansion
- Build and develop a high-performing media planning team, setting best practice and ways of working
