Please note, you must come from a retail background for this. We're partnering with a well-established retail brand to hire a Head of Marketing on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering the marketing strategy across multiple markets, driving customer acquisition, retention and brand growth while leading a high-performing marketing team. Working closely with senior stakeholders across eCommerce, Trading, Finance and Creative, you'll be responsible for ensuring marketing investment delivers strong commercial outcomes while continuing to strengthen brand positioning and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy to support business growth objectives.
- Lead customer acquisition, retention and lifecycle marketing initiatives.
- Oversee performance marketing, CRM, content and brand activity.
- Manage and develop a high-performing marketing team.
- Drive data-led decision making, ensuring marketing activity delivers measurable commercial impact.
- Collaborate closely with eCommerce and Trading teams to optimise customer growth and online performance.
- Manage marketing budgets and agency relationships.
About You
- Proven experience in a Head of Marketing, Marketing Director or similar senior marketing leadership role.
- Strong background within retail, ecommerce, fashion, lifestyle or consumer brands.
- Experience balancing brand-building with performance and customer growth objectives.
- Commercially minded with a strong understanding of customer acquisition, retention and digital marketing.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and influencing senior stakeholders.
