An exciting opportunity in London is looking for a Director, Data Operations / BI, supporting a global data and reporting centre within a complex, multi‑market organisation. Based in London. Up to £80k per annum.
Responsibilities
- Owning the end‑to‑end delivery of enterprise‑level data and taxonomy solutions, powering internal reporting and decision‑making
- Acting as a senior member, defining and enforcing global data governance, taxonomy, and reporting standards
- Leading engagement with multiple global and local markets to drive adoption of standardised data frameworks
- Acting as the central bridge between global stakeholders and local delivery teams
- Driving taxonomy compliance, data quality, and scalable governance models across markets
- Developing playbooks, frameworks, and documentation to support consistent market onboarding and implementation
- Ensuring data structures align with downstream BI, reporting, and analytics use cases
- Translating business and reporting requirements into scalable, future‑proof data solutions
- Acting as the escalation point for critical data integrity, reporting, and delivery issues
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading data operations, taxonomy, or data governance in global, multi‑market environments
- Background working within large, complex organisations or enterprise‑scale accounts
- Confident stakeholder manager across senior global and local teams
- Strong understanding of how data structures enable BI, reporting, and analytics
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands‑on levels
- Experience with tools such as SQL/Python, Excel, APIs, work management platforms, and taxonomy tools
