We're partnering with an ambitious, social-first creative agency looking for a Creative Strategist to join its growing strategy function. The agency sits at the intersection of social, creative, influencer, partnerships, PR and performance, creating culturally relevant work that is designed to deliver genuine commercial results. Their work spans household-name brands across sectors including financial services, FMCG, beauty, hospitality, entertainment and lifestyle.
This is a hands-on strategy role for someone who is genuinely immersed in social media, culture and human behaviour. You'll work across the agency's existing client portfolio as well as new business, taking client challenges and turning them into sharp insights, creative territories, compelling briefs and ultimately ideas that people will actually care about. You’ll sit closely alongside creative, client services, influencer and performance teams, helping shape the thinking behind the work rather than simply producing strategy decks.
What you’ll be doing:
- Digging into audiences, culture, communities, categories and competitors to uncover interesting human truths and insights.
- Turning research and data into clear creative opportunities and strategic territories.
- Interrogating client briefs to identify the real business, audience and creative challenge.
- Writing inspiring, single-minded creative briefs and propositions.
- Working closely with creative teams from initial insight through to idea development.
- Thinking about how ideas translate across social, creators, influencers, partnerships, experiential and paid media.
- Identifying communities, creators and cultural spaces that brands can credibly participate in.
- Supporting and leading strategic thinking across new business pitches, including research, insight development, pitch narratives and presentations.
- Keeping ahead of cultural trends, platform changes and shifts in audience behaviour.
- Connecting creative thinking back to commercial objectives and measurable performance.
What we’re looking for:
- You’ll ideally have 4-5+ years' experience in a strategy role within a social, creative or integrated agency, with social genuinely sitting at the heart of your experience.
- You’ll need a deep understanding of social culture and audience behaviour, alongside proven experience developing influencer and talent-led strategies.
- You should be able to take an insight and turn it into an idea rather than simply a presentation, and be confident presenting your thinking to both internal teams and clients.
- We’re particularly interested in people who are culturally curious, commercially minded, comfortable working at pace and excited by the opportunity to have real influence over the creative output of an agency.
