Creative Lead & 3D Designer

Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days in-office)
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: Competitive + Bonus (DOE)
Reporting to: Creative Director
Experience Level: 6+ years in experiential, events, or spatial design

About the Role

A leading experiential agency is seeking a Creative Lead & 3D Designer to join its London team. This is a senior-level, hands-on role combining creative direction, spatial design, and experiential thinking. You'll work across physical, hybrid, and digital projects for a range of global clients.

The right candidate will have a strong background in spatial and 3D design, combined with the ability to lead creative projects from concept to delivery. You'll be comfortable presenting ideas, managing teams, and collaborating across departments to bring immersive experiences to life.

You Bring:

  • Minimum 6 years' experience in an agency environment (experiential, events, or spatial design)

  • Strong 3D design skills using Vectorworks and Cinema 4D (or equivalent)

  • Strong understanding of event production, scenic design, materials, and fabrication

  • Ability to lead concept development and deliver work that aligns with client objectives

  • Experience managing creative teams and freelancers

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, Google Workspace, and AI-based creative tools

  • Ability to create compelling visual narratives and present ideas clearly to clients

  • Comfortable working at pace on pitches, RFPs, and live briefs

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Direction & Project Leadership

  • Lead creative development and design execution across experiential projects and pitches

  • Define the creative vision and ensure it aligns with client strategy and brand objectives

  • Collaborate with strategy, production, and design teams to deliver high-impact ideas

  • Present work internally and externally with clarity and confidence

  • Maintain a high level of creative quality across all outputs

3D Design & Spatial Storytelling

  • Oversee 3D design and scenic development across live events, pop-ups, and brand activations

  • Direct set design, environmental storytelling, and materials usage

  • Ensure concepts are both production-ready and visually innovative

  • Work closely with production and fabrication teams to ensure creative integrity through to build and delivery

Pitches & New Business

  • Lead creative responses to briefs, RFPs, and new business opportunities

  • Develop bold, strategic ideas under tight timelines

  • Collaborate closely with accounts and production to shape strong pitch narratives

Team Management & Collaboration

  • Mentor junior creatives and guide freelance designers

  • Help foster a collaborative and high-performing studio culture

  • Work closely with the Creative Director to elevate the creative standard across the agency
