Introduction
My client, a leading global organisation in the events and content space, is looking for a highly capable Email Marketing Automation Manager to join their team for an initial 6-month contract. This role is key to delivering high-impact, data-driven campaigns across several flagship events.
The Role
You'll be using Salesforce Marketing Cloud to build personalised customer journeys, manage automations, and drive engagement across a wide range of audience segments. This position also supports a wider SFMC migration project and offers excellent exposure to a dynamic, cross-functional marketing environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Build and optimise multi-step customer journeys and automations in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Collaborate with data teams to create and manage data extensions for highly targeted campaigns
- Execute A/B tests and performance analysis to drive campaign optimisation
- Manage lifecycle email campaigns across attendee, sponsor, and exhibitor journeys
- Partner with editorial, design, and wider marketing teams to ensure brand consistency and on-time delivery
You - Skills & Experience:
- Proven hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and AMPscript
- Strong understanding of data extensions, segmentation, and dynamic content
- Confident working with SQL for data manipulation and personalisation
- Track record in managing campaign performance reporting and driving actionable insights
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of GDPR, deliverability best practices, and responsive design principles
