About the role
We are looking for a Client Executive to join SMG's Capture team on an FTC/mat cover.
You'll build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders while helping deliver campaigns, activations and projects that contribute to our commercial goals. Working closely with colleagues across Capture and our wider Planning, Insight and Creative teams, you'll keep projects moving, communicate clearly and make sure everything we deliver is completed to a high standard.
What you'll do

Build strong relationships with clients and key contacts, acting as a trusted and dependable member of the team.
-
Keep projects moving by following up meetings with clear actions, guidance and next steps.
-
Help develop and deliver campaigns against agreed budgets and timelines, contributing ideas through brainstorms and collaborating with internal and external teams.
-
Adapt your communication style to work effectively with different stakeholders.
-
Produce high-quality client materials, including media plans, status reports and recommendations.
-
Support the senior team in governance meetings when required.
-
Contribute to wider organisational projects that support a great workplace and SMG's mission to lead connected commerce marketing.
What we're looking for
-
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
-
Great organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
-
An interest in developing your career within a marketing agency.
-
A willingness to think differently, approach challenges from new angles and question the status quo when there's a better way forward.
We're looking for people who enjoy the buzz of change, the satisfaction of building something better, and the joy of working with a close-knit, values-driven team. If you love variety, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and embrace change with energy, this could be your right role.
Don't meet every single requirement? We still want to hear from you. If you believe you'd thrive in this role, your unique perspective might be just what we're looking for.
