The Role
As Logistics & Operations Manager, you will take ownership of logistics and fulfilment operations across multiple international markets, ensuring products move efficiently from suppliers through to customers. Working closely with Finance, Buying, Production, Technology, Customer Care, and external logistics partners, you will drive service excellence, optimise costs, and lead continuous improvement across the supply chain. This is a rolling temporary position.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing relationships with multiple 3PL and warehouse partners across the UK, US, and EU
- Monitoring warehouse performance through KPIs, SLAs, and operational reviews
- Overseeing fulfilment, warehouse forecasting, capacity planning, and inventory management
- Managing freight forwarding operations across air, sea, road, and courier networks
- Owning inbound logistics from supplier through to warehouse delivery
- Managing customs compliance, import/export documentation, duties, and international shipping requirements
- Negotiating rates and managing commercial relationships with freight forwarders and logistics providers
- Managing logistics, freight, and warehousing budgets while identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Overseeing stock accuracy, stock movements, stock takes, and inventory control processes
- Acting as the NetSuite lead for logistics, warehouse, and inventory processes
- Producing operational reporting and performance analysis across logistics, inventory, and fulfilment
- Leading operational improvement projects, warehouse transitions, and new logistics initiatives
- Managing an Operations Assistant and supporting the wider customer operations function
You – Skills & Experience:
- Significant experience managing 3PL providers and international logistics operations
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, customs compliance, and international trade
- Experience managing warehouse operations, inventory control, and fulfilment processes
- Proven experience managing supplier relationships and commercial negotiations
- Strong financial awareness with experience managing logistics and operational budgets
- Previous experience using NetSuite or a similar ERP system
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
- Experience driving operational improvements and implementing scalable processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on operational delivery
