About the role

We are looking for a Client Director FTC Maternity Cover (1 Year) to join our MMG team. Lead the MMG Client Team, setting the commercial and strategic direction for a multi-million-pound business while delivering standout retail media solutions that drive growth for Morrisons and its brand partners.

What you'll do:

  • Own commercial performance across the Client Team, driving delivery against MMG's revenue and commercial targets.
  • Lead and inspire a team of c.32, creating a high-performing culture that delivers brilliant, commercially effective client work.
  • Build trusted senior relationships with Morrisons and partner brands, aligning priorities and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Set the standard for strategic planning, ensuring work is insight-led and delivers against both brand and Morrisons objectives.
  • Bring teams together across MMG, SMG and Morrisons to deliver outstanding campaigns, insight, reporting and client service.

  • Help shape the future of MMG as part of the Senior Leadership Team, championing collaboration, culture and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for:

  • Experienced senior client leader, ideally with a background in FMCG, retail or a similarly complex client environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a proven track record of delivering revenue and profitability targets and managing complex P&L.
  • Confident senior stakeholder manager, able to build trusted relationships and influence across clients, retailers and internal teams.
  • Experienced in budgeting, forecasting and financial management, with the ability to turn commercial data into clear actions.
  • Proven people leader, with experience building, motivating and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinker, able to set direction, manage complexity and balance multiple priorities.
  • Clear and influential communicator, comfortable translating data and strategy into compelling recommendations.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with a continuous improvement mindset and the drive to unlock new opportunities.

We're looking for people who enjoy the buzz of change, the satisfaction of building something better, and the joy of working with a close-knit, values-driven team. If you love variety, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and embrace change with energy, this could be your right role. Don't meet every single requirement? We still want to hear from you.
