This is a hands-on content role combining editorial production, SEO and emerging AI search practices. You'll be responsible for creating, optimising and refreshing web content to ensure it is useful and engaging for audiences while also being easily understood, retrieved and surfaced by AI-powered search and answer engines.

The Role

As Content Producer, you'll create and optimise editorial content across a major consumer website, using search behaviour, user intent and SEO best practice to identify opportunities and improve organic visibility. You'll work closely with insights, analytics and wider marketing teams to identify content priorities, while taking ownership of the content creation process from brief and research through to publishing, optimisation and ongoing updates.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating, editing and optimising SEO-led editorial and web content based on user needs and search intent
  • Identifying content opportunities and gaps across priority topics and audiences
  • Writing clear, engaging and natural-language content that works for both human audiences and AI-powered search engines
  • Refreshing and improving existing high-performing pages to maintain relevance and organic visibility
  • Applying SEO and GEO/AEO best practice across web content, including headings, internal linking, semantic structure and metadata
  • Using keyword, search intent and performance insights to inform content creation and optimisation
  • Managing content through the full CMS publishing lifecycle, from brief and draft through to review, publishing and iteration
  • Supporting the editorial calendar and coordinating content delivery with relevant stakeholders
  • Working with insights and analytics teams to identify priorities and measure the impact of content initiatives
  • Helping improve organic visibility, SERP coverage, engagement and AI search visibility
  • Championing SEO and emerging GEO best practice across the wider content team
  • Ensuring content reflects brand tone, audience needs and relevant cultural or regional nuances

You - Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience in SEO content, editorial production and web copywriting, ideally within a major brand or media environment
  • 3+ years' experience implementing SEO content tactics, including on-page optimisation, keyword research, content gaps and search intent
  • Proven ability to create and optimise content that has improved organic rankings, traffic, visibility or engagement
  • Strong editorial and copywriting skills, with the ability to produce clear, helpful and engaging content
  • Hands-on experience working within a CMS and managing content from creation through to publication and optimisation
  • Good understanding of how content is evolving within AI search, LLMs and answer engines
  • Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Google Analytics or similar
  • Familiarity with GEO/AEO is advantageous, although not essential
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar enterprise CMS platforms is advantageous
  • Comfortable working with insights, analytics and cross-functional stakeholders to inform content priorities
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain SEO concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working with global audiences and multilingual content would be beneficial
  • Genuine enthusiasm for console gaming and the PlayStation ecosystem is highly desirable
